can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street
Needle felted wool, I shall be making quite a few of the characters from Sesame Street. I bought my daughter the 1974 Sesame Street Little People playset off ebay. It didn't have anybody or anything with it so I'm making my own.
I love fall
So much so I make random pumpkin hats for babies I don't know. Knit Picks Dk Swish, dyed with orange kool aid. For my mom's friends sister-in-laws baby.

Giddy up' Joe
I just realized I never ever posted the completed Mascot. Here he is. The title of the post is what they named the mascot.
two blogs in one
I combined this blog with my knit/crochet blog. I'm not prolific by any means not in art not in knitting or crocheting. By combining the two I hope to be able to post completed (or maybe just works-in-progress) more often.

wow, another post in less than 6 months!
More polymer clay, the main part of the figure has been done for uh a couple years, I finally added arms, 'clothes' and hair. The dragonfly was picked up at a garage sale and I believe was a candle votive. I glued in a piece of silk stuffed with batting. I might try to do a different fairy for it though.

My grand plan for 2010
I thought I start this new year off right. I'm going to try to do a sketch a day for the next 365 days. It's a way to get off my artistic arse and actually try to be creative this year. I will admit there will be some days there won't be a sketch, on those days I hope to post a pic of a sculpture, either completed or at least in progress. To start this off, I'm supposed to do a sculpture for a friend as a late birthday present. We have a renaissance faire that comes to our state and is open every weekend from mid-August til the end of Sept/beginning of October. She goes EVERY weekend and dresses to the nines for it. I'm making her a little critter to go into her corset for a new costume she's making. With no further ado... baby griffin cleavage critter sketch for how the sculpt will hopefully look.
